Do you have any questions about visits for groups of adults or school groups?
School groups:
The Waterloo Memorial 1815 puts every effort into welcoming schools and groups of young people. We aim to help teachers and accompanying adults prepare their visit.
As well as open visits, we offer guided tours supported by the 1815 guides or demonstrations of firing cannons and guns etc.
Our media teams will soon be offering educational activities with a variety of approaches that will henceforth permit a varied schools programme aimed at all stages of education.
By offering guided visits in period costume (allowing children to understand civilian or military life at the beginning of the 19th century) and interdisciplinary workshops, our teams are working actively to develop activities for schools. We will soon be making educational packs available to accompanying adults and teachers.
