Waterloo Experience – go back in time for a weekend 

Have you ever wished you could step into someone else’s shoes for an adventure? Have you ever wanted to go back in time and experience history in the making?
Spend a weekend as one of the soldiers who laid down their lives for the Emperor. On period costumes, spend time in a specially erected bivouac and live the life of one of our valiant soldiers. Cook the grognards’ hotpot and learn to wield historical weaponry with the experts – it’s a full immersion Waterloo experience!
Waterloo Battlefield, in partnership with the 8th régiment d’infanterie de ligne, will take you back to Napoleonic times in the historic setting of Hougoumont farm.
